Welcome to the Third District!
District Overview
The 3rd district’s northern boundary is Mark West Springs Road. Most of central Santa Rosa, east to Los Olivos and Farmers Lane and west to Piner, Marlow and Link Lane lie within the 3rd District. The City of Rohnert Park east of Highway 101 and Sonoma State University mark the southern end of the district.

Responsibilities
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Sonoma is charged with the responsibility of establishing policy to guide the various functions of the County and, where necessary, to establish procedures by which functions are performed.
Supervisor Zane’s assigned Functional Group of County departments for the year 2009 is Development Services. Special assignments include:
- Bay Area Air Quality Management District
- Joint Roseland Subcommittee
- Public Policy Facilitating Committee
Supervisor Zane is assigned as an alternate member of the following:
- FishNet 4C
- Association of Bay Area Governments
- Health Action Committee
- Sonoma County Indian Gaming Local Community Benefit Committee
- Northbay Watershed Association
