Sonoma County Tourism Bureau Board
Description
To provide for the levying of assessments on specified lodging businesses within Sonoma County which will fund activities and programs promoting tourism in the Area.
Authority
Board of Supervisors: Resolution 04-0984; Ordinance 5525; Streets and Highways Code sections 36500, et seq.
Duties
Advise the Board of Supervisors on the amount of the Area's Assessments and on the services, programs, and activities to be funded by the Assessments.
Term
Two year term; Appointees shall serve at the pleasure of the Board of Supervisors.
Membership Composition
22 members, 8 appointed by the Board of Supervisors; 14 nominated by the Governance Committee and approved by SCTB Board.
