Alcohol And Drug Problems (Advisory Board)

Description

Advise the alcohol and drug program administrator(s) and inform the Board of Supervisors on policies and goals of the county alcohol and drug program.

Authority

Board of Supervisors: Resolution 94-1106; 07/26/94 Resolution 94-1105; 07/26/94 *1994 - Terms of all members appointed on or before 7/94 will run until 7/97.

Duties

Participate in the planning process of collaborative short and long term goals and objectives for alcohol and other drug service delivery for all segments of the community; assist in the development of appropriate and effective evaluation strategies for programs; assist in the process to address current and future service needs; encourage and educate the public to understand the nature of alcohol and other drug problems and encourage community support of alcohol and drug programs.

3 years.

15 members; 3 from each Supervisorial District.
