Authority

Ordinance No. 1593; amended by Ordinance No. 3552, 04/01/86; amended by Ordinance No. 4628, 02/09/93.

Duties

To study, revise and recommend to the Board of Supervisors for adoption the Sonoma County Emergency Plan, and to review and recommend action upon all proposed mutual aid agreements with the United States, State of California, other political subdivisions, corporations, and groups or individuals; to review and recommend the adoption of such ordinances, resolutions, rules and regulations as may be necessary to implement the County Emergency Plan or other mutual aid agreement entered into pursuant to such plan.

Term

One year.

Chairman of the Board of Supervisors Emergency Services Director Sonoma County Sheriff Director of Transportation & Public Works Director of Health Services Manager of Communications Director of Human Services Director of Permit & Resources Manage Director of General Services Director of Information Services One representative from each incorporated city within County, appointed annually by the respective city council One representative of public schools in the County, appointed by County Superintendent of Schools One representative from the United States Coast Guard One representative from the California National Guard One member representing local American Red Cross.
