Duties
To review and make recommendations on all matters to come before the Sonoma County Community Development Commission prior to Commission action, except emergency matters and matters which the Committee by resolution excludes from Committee review and recommendation (members also sit as a Relocation Appeals Board, as needed).
Term
Each tenant Commissioner serves 2 years, each remaining Commissioner shall serve coterminous with appointing Supervisor.
Membership Composition
Seven appointed by Board of Supervisors, two of which shall be tenants of the Housing Authority, one tenant shall be at least 62 years of age. Each member of the Board of Supervisors shall nominate one Commissioner from his own Supervisorial District. The tenant commissioners shall be nominated by the five commissioners first appointed by the Board.
